Once again the Palace Park was lucky with the weather. Warm & sunny but not as hot as last year, & rather more blowy. There was a larger entry list (I think) but some familiar machines were missing, lots more slightly mundane “tin-tops”, some more pre & immediate post war cars & fewer formula cars, although there were a number of hill climb specials. Overall still a very enjoyable day/afternoon out, but I think attendance was possibly slightly down on previous years.
This Force PT from 2000 took FTD & broke the course record, with 32.87.
Possibly my favourite car of the day, a 1959 AC single seater running as an invitational.
More Vintage stuff this year..
